EL DASA

Dasahev López Saavedra , better known as El Dasa , is a Mexican singer and actor, born on July 27, 1989, in Hermosillo, Sonora. Named after the Russian footballer Rinat Dasayev, of whom his father was an admirer, El Dasa became known in the artistic environment at the age of 15, thanks to his ability to sing, which led him to be the vocalist of the group Banda Costa. Azul, from his hometown, with whom he sang for 4 years. He later tried to make his way alone, participating in the reality show La Academia 6: Última Generacion , however, he did not have the expected success and was eliminated in the second round. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 20, where he met Vicente Fernández’s mariachis, to whom he asked for a job but the only thing they could offer him was the vacancy as a driver, which he accepted. This is how he became the driver of the Mexican singer, who met him, heard his talent and decided to support him, inviting him to sing the song Amor de los Dos in a live performance at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles. Success soon came and in 2017 he participated along with other renowned performers in a tribute album to Pedro Infante. When the NBC Universo network heard his story, it bought the rights and invited him to participate in the series based on his life De el Vato (2016-2017), where he plays the main role.
